Ich bin zurruck.

Day One:1400 hours: I have collected a group of soldiers and comrades to go forth from the land of the free and brave to seek other pastures where we may be welcomed. A few of the volunteers I believe are masquerading marauders. Hopefully all goes well and none shall get hurt.

Day Four: 0900 hours:Strife breaks out amoungst the company. Bitter tears wept and blood spilt. Things are dicey. (especially the games.)

Day Thirteen: unknown time: lost watch. going crazy. dissention has crept into the camp like a fog hovering in the morning. Down to three men. We found bananas and laughed our great fortune.

Day Fourteen:moon in sky: plague erupts. Locust eat men. Left alone.

Day Fifteen: Upset. Training didn't talk about being all alone. I don't even have Wilson.

Day Seventeen: Companionship found. Clarence.

Day Twenty-nine: Had lost my palm. But is now found. Made clothing from leaves. Now understand why Cain was always cranky.

Day Thirtytwo: Discovered land of beauty and wonder, but in the midst of journeyings, lost crew, family, and planned future. Lost amoungst the leaves, brooks and wild bears and elegant deer. Like strewn, water-whipped branches bleached in the sun- life is taking on a new outlook. Concern about my water. Misplaced my bananas.

I hope you find your bananas...if you do, you should make chocolate fondue and dip them in it. Then the rest of your company might come back too.

Now I get it. You must be at girls camp...that's where all the "normal" people take of the masks and they're really marauders.

Meagan speaks German?

In other news...deep thoughts about Cain. I'm going to have to ponder that. But not too much...

If this is just a story (and even if it's not): I think you should weave some rope out of willows, rope down an elegant deer (or if that's too cruel bait it with berries), tame it, and then ride it through the woods with your long blonde hair flowing behind you. In your spare time, paint me a picture of this scene on a piece of bark using mud and leaf-guts. I will appreciate it very much.

If this is (/also) a metaphor: Loosing your plans for the future is a rough process. In my experience, the Maker of the Woods aways comes through with a better back-up plan. Hopefully He'll guide you to the trail and a land full of bananas, soon.

I only love and miss!

Thanks Meagan. "Ich bin zurruck" means, "I am back" though. But close enough.
