"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."

They (the unidentified people of the world) say that a person is suppose to go to school to learn stuff. I am going to school. Am I learning anything? You bet I am!

  • The sun doesn't provide enough heat.
  • Freshman are not wide-eyed, bushy-tailed innocence.
  • Guys are still scarey sometimes.
  • Other guys are fun and enjoyable to be around.
  • Girls and their girlish tendencies to flirt 24/7 are annoying.
  • Bugs are named correctly.
  • Intimidation comes in the form of scribbely lined homework sheets.
  • Professors are just as akward as everyone else: hence there is no hope to grow out of it.
  • People as a whole are friendly.
  • It is not difficult to look like you are an authority of some sort- just dress nicely and frown slightly and move with purpose.
  • It is important to keep friendly connections with everyone- even with those who intimidate you- they come back into your life at one time or another.
  • Tons of people in a little hallway, trying to go five different ways, does not result in happiness. (so is it wickedness?)
  • LIFE IS EXPENSIVE
  • Getting older is good, but depressing at times.
  • Clocks are mean. They make their hands go really fast when you have a deadline to make. And they make their hands go molassesly slow when you are bored with nothing to do.
  • Mastering a foriegn language is impossibly hard.
And have YOU learned ANYTHING as cool as me?
I betcha yeh haven't... ;)

Just when you think you're done you find out you can't graduate without measuring your head.
Girls from Fargo are really cute (especially the blonde ones).
The dang library tour/test is just a hazing ritual and really doesn't help you. Duh, there are maps to show you where things are.
I'm liking the black...

yeah, but it's making funny stripes in my eyes that I can still see while I'm typing this.
I love you Maria!

I also have a first week of school blog in the works. But one thing I did learn is the short cut for an em dash. My papers will never be the same (speaking of nerds) :)

And I want to see you frown and move wih purpose.

I always used to get out of sluffing classes that way in high school. I'd be walking down the hall with absolutely no permission to be there, but as long as I walked fast, tucked in my shirt and looked ahead with purpose, all the teachers assumed I had a legitimate reason to be out of class.

Lol. Then there was my school, where a student was discovered asleep on a lounge room couch, cuddeling a hall pass. That was BEFORE the hall monitors. You know a shortcut for the em dash and you haven't told me, yet?!

*cuddling. Dang.

lol.

For a PC:
en dash= ctrl+the minus sign key (on the numeric keypad)
em dash= ctrl+alt+the minus sign key

For a mac:
en dash= option+the hyphen key
em dash= option+shift+the hyphen key

This comes in close second to knowing "Shut Up and Kiss Me" in every language (;
